GOD HAS JOINED JESUS TO THE CHURCH
The church is indestructible. We have already seen that in Matthew 16:18. Jesus said the gates of Hades would not prevail against the building of the kingdom, or the church.---TRTW

This weeks scripture reading Gen 1: 1-5: :1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 1:2And the earth was waste and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep: and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters 1:3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 1:4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 1:5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
The Bible is still the world's best seller, and has been translated into more than 1400 languages. A recent genetic study of human genes related to the brain concluded that possibly there appeared a "microcephalin variant (that) could have arisen anywhere from 14,000 to 60,000 years ago" and an "ASPM variant ranged from 500 to 14,000 years" ago and "roughly correlating with the development of written language, spread of agriculture and development of cities---BIBLICAL RESEARCH BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY
Identifying the Church of the Lord
Jesus said, "Upon this rock I will build my
church" (Matt. 16:18). The subject of the church
is as old as the teaching
of the Lord Jesus and His
apostles. But, as was true
when God gave laws and
rules to Israel, they were
followed: "Even as Moses is warned of God
when he is about to make the tabernacle: for,
See, saith he, that thou make all things
according to the pattern that was showed thee
in the mount" (Heb. 8:5). Let's find, then, those
indentifying marks of the Lord's church. ---read the rest of the story from The Gospel Minutes (pfd file)
When God calls us to serve Him, it is often a frightening prospect. We may think we are unable to do what He wants us to do.---Gospel Minutes (pdf)
IS THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
THE ONE TRUE CHURCH?
With one billion members, the Roman Catholic Church is the largest denomination in the world. Since the Bible teaches that Jesus built only one church, we must learn if the Roman Catholic Church is the one mentioned in the Bible (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 5:22-33; Colossians 1:18).---article from the Truth for the World

We see people seeking new age solutions to their spiritual
needs. ---Gospel Minutes newsletter pdf file format
5:43Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy: 5:44but I say unto you, love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you; 5:45that ye may be sons of your Father who is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sendeth rain on the just and the unjust. 5:46For if ye love them that love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 5:47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the Gentiles the same? 5:48Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. --Mat. 5:43-48
Its tough being a christian, tough to forgive wrongs being done to us, tough to control your anger, and wanting to get even with those who do you wrong. But we are to be like God ready to forgive wrongs and deeds that are done to us. Because we will need forgiveness from God the Father for sins we commit one day.
Though we may fail in this forgiving wrongs that are done to us, we need to keep trying to forgive wrongs that are done to us.
Scripture reading Luke 24: 1-7;

24:1But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came unto the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. 24:2And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 24:3And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 24:4And it came to pass, while they were perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel: 24:5and as they were affrighted and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 24:6He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 24:7saying that the Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
