I started this site in hopes to reach people with God's message. I got this idea from a sermon at church one Sunday, which the lesson was about bearing ones cross. Not, bearing the cross as many of or society think on what that term means, like doing community work, or some other "work" but what are we doing in Christ name?
Im a member of these virtual communities and 3d chatrooms like moove.com and IMVU.com; (And yes there are christians on these sites). and some who are searching for the meaning of life. I decided to "pick up my cross' and try and spread the message of Christ to those who would listen. Thus the name bearingthecross. Christ went to places where people were who needed to hear His message, he didnt just pal around with righteous people, He went to where sinners were. For example the story of Levi the tax collector.
And Im happy to say I had alot of people coming and reading these bible studies and articles on faith, I hope that people will be reached with these lessons and seek the truth about God's inspired word.
